Odos to shut down operations as company winds up, DAO to chart next steps

July 25, 2026No Comments3 Mins Read

The company behind it DeFi aggregator Odos will finally phase out its activities this month. The protocol app goes into read-only mode July 27 before it shuts down completely July 30.

Announcing the decision, the team emphasized that Odos is a non-custodial platform, meaning users’ assets remain on-chain and under their control. It also clarified that the ODOS token and the Odos DAO will continue to exist independently of the operating company.

Odos sets the closing date of July 30

According to the announcement, existing users can continue exchanging tokens and closing positions until July 30. However, new account registrations, wallet creation and new limit orders are already disabled.

Between July 27 and 30the application enters read-only mode, allowing users to view transaction history and balances, but preventing further activity.

After July 30all services operated by Odos will be permanently discontinued, with the company confirming that no further development, support or maintenance will take place.

For users who created wallets using the Odos social or email login, the team recommended transferring assets to another wallet or exporting private keys before the cutoff date. It added that instructions for accessing the wallet will remain available via the official support page after operations cease.

Due to the business closure, the token and DAO remain intact

While the operating company is closing, the team emphasized that the ODOS token will remain on-chain and that the closure will not affect the underlying mechanisms.

It also noted that the Odos DAO operates independently of the company and will communicate its own plans separately.

The announcement further warned users not to expect any token migrations, new products, token claims, or airdrops.

“There will be NO new Odos products, token migrations, token claims or airdrops from us,” the team said, warning that direct messages, fake support accounts or migration websites claiming otherwise should be treated as scams.

Users were also urged never to share seed phrases or sign transactions from websites claiming to facilitate an Odos migration or relaunch unless announced through the DAO’s official channels.

ODOS token declines after shutdown announcement

TradingView data showed the ODOS token trading around $0.00107 at the moment you press, approximately downwards 5.5% during the past 24 hours.

The decline was accompanied by higher trading volumes as the market reacted to the closure announcement.

Despite the selling pressure, the token’s Relative Strength Index remains strong [RSI] remained around 51, indicating neutral momentum rather than an oversold situation.

Although the operating company is pulling out, the announcement clearly distinguishes between the company, the protocol’s governance structure and the token itself, keeping future DAO decisions separate from the liquidation of the company.

Final summary

  • The company behind Odos will put its app into read-only mode on July 27 before permanently shutting down services on July 30.
  • Odos said the ODOS token and DAO are separate from the operating company, while warning users that any migration offers, token claims or airdrops are scams.
