MADRID, ES / ACCESS Newswi e / July 3, 2026 / C ossmit is authorized as a Payme t I stitutio (PI) by the Bak of Spai u the EU’s Payme t Se vices Di ective (PSD2).

This year, C ossmit received MiCA Class 2 authorization from Spai’s CNMV, gaining full authorization to operate as an ac ypto asset service across the EU. After completing the required prerequisites, C ossmi t has now successfully been fully registered as a CASP with CNMV, allowing passporting through all 27 EU Member States.

PSD2 authorization is the de facto extension of that compliance footing, allowing stablecoi to be used as a means of payment under EU payments law.
