Fireblocks Integrates With Stacks Bitcoin DeFi

February 9, 2026No Comments1 Min Read

Fireblocks has announced an integration with Stacks that will give institutional clients access to Bitcoin-native decentralized finance. Fireblocks is an enterprise digital asset security and custody platform, while Stacks is a Bitcoin layer-2 network for smart contracts.

The integration will enable more than 2,400 Fireblocks customers to stake Bitcoin capital in DeFi applications built on Stacks, using existing institutional workflows for custody, settlement, trading and payments. The focus is on Bitcoin-denominated products that work directly with Bitcoin as the settlement layer.

The integration will allow institutions to earn Bitcoin-based yields and access BTC-backed lending services across the Stacks ecosystem. These DeFi activities are designed to function as extensions of standard institutional processes rather than standalone crypto-native tools.

The Stacks ecosystem is also supported by other institutional integrations, including Circle, a regulated digital payments and stablecoin company, Bitfinex, a global cryptocurrency exchange, Immunefi, a blockchain security platform, and WalletConnect, a wallet connectivity protocol.
