HANNOVER, Germany, June 7, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Astrall Dynamics has announced the Hypertron-T01 firefighting robot at INTERSCHUTZ 2026. The rugged four-legged robot features a dynamic payload of 80 kg in combination with a fully integrated high-pressure water cannon, effectively solving the industry’s long-standing trade-off between robot mobility and active firefighting capabilities.
The system has a high-pressure water cannon and simultaneously drags heavy supply hoses through complex rubble. The integrated water cannon delivers a flow rate of 20 l/s with a range of 60 meters and a projection angle of 120 degrees. An advanced body stabilization system for effective firefighting as the robot climbs 45-degree slopes or navigates narrow chemical pipelines, all controlled via safe remote methods. IP67 protection supports operation in rain, dust, mud and wet environments. The platform is also designed for a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to 55°C. Additionally, an 8-hour runtime prevents the device from losing power during use, while integrated thermal imaging, gas detection and 3D LiDAR provide continuous situational awareness.
The Hypertron-T01 is designed to enter environments with high temperatures, toxic gases or structural collapse risks for active suppression and reconnaissance. Deploying the robot in the danger zone allows human operators to remain in a safe area to make strategic, data-driven decisions.
The design of the system is based on practical pain points. This field validation is supported by the completed bulk delivery of the system to China Southern Power Grid, with orders now being accepted worldwide.
“Traditional four-legged robots generally have low payload and lack mobility in any terrain,” said Xinqi, head of international business at Astral dynamics. “Our four-legged robot Hypertron-T01 can transport a full complement of firefighting equipment to burning stairwells and collapsed buildings, reducing firefighters’ exposure to the most dangerous frontline environments.”

As the global rescue robotics market grows and fire departments integrate firefighting robots into standard equipment frameworks, Astrall Dynamics continues to expand its international footprint.
