The SBF Hearing Comes to an End…

November 1, 2023No Comments2 Mins Read

TL; DR

  • Here are our findings/what we have learned so far in the SBF trial:

  • The judge is fed up with SBF’s sh*t!

  • His commitment to answering almost every question with some form of “I don’t remember/I’m not sure” makes him feel slippery.

  • Immediately after SBF left the stand, his lawyers moved for “a verdict of acquittal” (i.e. a ‘not guilty’ verdict) to which the judge simply replied: “Denied.”

Full story

It’s day 16 of the SBF test!

Here are our findings/what we’ve learned so far:

  • The judge is fed up with SBF’s sh*t!

For whatever reason, Sam has flat-out refused to give straight answers to even the simplest questions, dwelling on the details of the most mundane ascertainment questions.

…and the judge has often called him out on it!

  • From the outside looking in, this approach cannot make Sam look good in the eyes of the jury.

His commitment to answering almost every question with some form of “I don’t remember/I’m not sure” makes him feel slippery.

  • Immediately after SBF left the stand, his lawyers moved for “a judgment of acquittal” (i.e. a ‘not guilty’ verdict).

To which the judge simply replied:

    “Refused.”

  • By the time you read this, chances are the closing arguments have begun!

Who wants to bet on the jury’s verdict?
