Located just 20 minutes from the Scottish capital and nestled in 200 hectares of protected land, the resort promises an immersive experience for nature lovers and tech-savvy travelers. According to Oliver Pyle-Santini, founder of Mythtopia: “Nothing like this has ever been done before, and by merging ecotourism, gaming and the cryptosphere we hope to create a new era for travel and tourism.”
Unique features and activities
Mythtopia There are plans to provide 150 low-impact geometric domes and lodges. In addition to conventional facilities such as a restaurant, clubhouse, bar and spa, the resort offers various tailor-made activities for a diverse audience. Guests can explore ‘Mythtopia Legends’, a geofenced AR playground rooted in ancient times Celtic mythologyinteract with digitally talking trees and dwarves and undertake quests.

In addition, there are numerous outdoor activities available, such as open water swimming, horse riding, yoga classes and silent disco parties. “This AR experience will create a ‘digital theme park’ perfect for families, couples, gamers and LARPers,” according to the resort’s promotional materials.
Sustainability and exclusive access
Mythtopia takes its commitment to sustainability seriously. By purchasing an NFT, guests support the rewilding of the forest and the planting of more than 120,000 trees. Each NFT costs 0.35 ETH. Additionally, the resort has introduced a cryptocurrency token called OXEGEN (OXE), similar to a “digital carbon credit.” The resort is also exclusive to NFT token holders, who can stay up to three nights per year and invite three other guests. Some may choose to leverage their NFTs for a share of booking revenue.
