Xyra Labs, a well-known platform focused on improving the accessibility of Web3 and DeFi tools, has announced a new upgrade called ‘Split Routing’. With the release of Split Routing, Xyra Labs aims to provide CEX-level pricing for DeFi swaps. As stated in Xyra Labs’ official social media announcement, the upgrade is aimed at delivering the best swap rates and ultra-low slippage. In this regard, the development signals a crucial step towards closing the performance gap that exists between decentralized and centralized exchanges.
Xyra Labs bridges the gap between centralized exchange and DeFi swaps
By launching the Split Routing upgrade, Xyra Labs aims to bring CEX-scale swap precision to the next generation of decentralized trading. Liquidity pools play a crucial role in AMM-based DEXs, rather than order books, as in centralized exchanges. The respective liquidity pools serve as smart contracts with token pairs such as $ETH/$USDC, with prices determined according to the token ratio in the pool.
While this ratio remains balanced, traders are allowed to execute seamless swaps with as little slippage as possible. Nevertheless, amid the massive price shifts or huge volume trades, imbalances often occur, causing temporary losses or slippages for liquidity platforms. Currently, many liquidity aggregator entities obtain liquidity from different pools and also route rates through the pool with the best available balance. Split Routing from Xyra Labs transforms access to liquidity and trade execution by splitting the transfer into several smaller parts for simultaneous execution across diverse liquidity pools.
Redefining DeFi with greater transparency and better fees
According to Xyra Labs, the exclusive routing algorithm works 30% faster when performing swaps. This way, traders can benefit from faster settlements and relatively competitive rates. Furthermore, the upgrade enables the platform to bring transparency to DeFi operations with CEX-scale efficiency. This approach ensures consistent execution, reduced slippage and optimal pricing, even under volatile conditions.
Currently, consumers can use Split Routing using Xyra Labs DEX Aggregator for an advanced experience. Overall, the upgrade allows consumers to trade smarter while increasing the depth of liquidity across networks.
