Sora Ventures has joined the Advisory Board of the Consortium for Diplomacy and Worldwide Action (CDGA) to the Teachers College, Columbia University, Backing efforts to integrate web3 and emerging technologies into worldwide educational and policy discussions.
The Venture company has done a philanthropic donation to support CDGA, which was founded with the International Academy for Arts and Cultural Studies and the UN Institute for Training and Research’s New York Office.
Jason Fang, co-founder and managing partner of Sora Ventures, was also appointed advisory board to give guidelines on digital financial systems and other transformative technologies.
The donation will finance research and educational programs that investigate Web3 and digital innovation, with a focus on interdisciplinary cooperation.
The initiatives are in line with broader UN priorities, including the Pact for the future and the high-level advisory body on artificial intelligence, both emphasize responsible innovation and global cooperation.
Fang said that the cooperation was designed to help policy makers, students and practitioners better understand how blockchain and decentralized systems can form international financing.
He also presented the role of digital assets in promoting the sustainable development goals of the UN on the Glocha un HQ NY Conference & Exhibit 2025, a forum that emphasizes how emerging technologies can take on global challenges.
