Ripple has taken a step in the direction of promoting crypto education in the United States by spearing the National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA).
The NCA is positioned as an independent, non-party organization without political preferences. The primary goal is to offer educational means and to promote a deeper understanding of crypto.
According to March 5 rackThe initiative has a $ 50 million subsidy from Ripple to increase crypto literacy and to promote national acceptance.
Although Ripple supports the NCA financially, Ripple CEO Brad Garlingouse clarified that the organization will function independently.
Garlinghouse explained That the company found the initiative because of the importance of education when disclosing the potential of digital assets. He noted that the financing of $ 50 million will support awareness campaigns and show how crypto benefits for individuals throughout the country.
Why NCA?
The initiative follows a recent study with Harris Poll, who collected insights from thousands of American crypto holders.
The results showed a strong desire for a better understanding of digital assets, in which 81% of the respondents show a strong interest in learning about the future of the emerging industry.
In addition, 76% of the participants reported positive financial consequences of their crypto involvement, with reference to more financial independence and learning and personal growth opportunities.
In view of this, Stuart Alderoty, Chief Legal Officer of Ripple and the newly appointed President of the NCA, emphasized that the role of the organization would be to make crypto more accessible.
He noted that the NCA will simplify complex concepts by easily understanding explanations and real stories of crypto users.
He added on X:
“NCA is here to cut the noise and to ensure that everyday Americans have the facts, resources and tools and support they need to go with confidence with Crypto. If you already benefit from digital assets in your life or company, this is the time to participate with us and to share your story. If you are just curious, we are here for you to learn more. “
