Ripple has promised $ 25 million in his RLUSD Stablecoin to support American education through non -profit organizations Donorschoose and Teach for America.

According to Ripple, the funds will be used to meet requests from teachers, buying supplies and expanding tutoring programs such as Teach for America’s Ignite. The company is also planning to support a national voice challenge to cherish innovation and problem-solving skills among young students.

“We hope to inspire others to do the same, start with the teachers’ valuation week and lead to the rest of the year to support students and teachers with the means they need to build a stronger future for themselves and their communities.”
RLUSD’s utility meets social impact
A remarkable aspect of the donation is that a large part would be paid in Rlusd, Ripple’s Stablecoin. Based on CryptoSlate Data, RLUSD currently has a market capitalization of more than $ 316 million.
