My neighbor Alice (MNA), the multiplayer Bouwererspel with an economy of players, works together with Pudgy Penguins to introduce a new in-game area called Pudgy Land. Players can now take their Pudgy NFTs to the game, where they appear as fully animated characters, ready to explore and communicate.

Bring NFTs to the game world
The collaboration brings 40,000 NFTs of the Pudgy Penguins Ecosystem – voltage of three collections – in the world of my neighbor Alice as fully playable 3D characters. Players can now explore the game as their own Pudgy Avatars, complete with unique features.
Pudgy Land, a new area with the winter theme nestled in the Snowflake Wilds region, is the heart of this integration. Here Pudgy NFT holders can participate in Quests, socialize with others and unlock new items that are linked to their NFTs.
To add to the experience, Lil Pudgys in-game appear as eggs that end up in the exact NFT that is the property of the player. In the meantime, Pudgy rod holders receive a Themaphic with themeantier and access to unique fish. Players can also use their pudgy penguin for their in-game profile.

A step forward for web3 gaming
Steve Haßenpflug, VP Van Games at Chromaway and my neighbor Alice, emphasized the technical and creative ambition behind the partnership.
“We not only integrated the Pudgy Penguins brand, but have made all 40,000 items as Native 3D assets within my neighbor Alice,” he said, adding to it, “that is the power of connected ecosystems and a big step in the direction of the open metaillse.”
His comments indicate a wider shift to Interoperability in Web3 Gamen – A true NFTs are no longer only static images, but playable, interactive assets that can be transferred over platforms.
Play, adjust and make
My neighbor Alice does not stop here, with plans to bring more well-known NFT collections into the game. It is part of a larger movement in Blockchain -Gaming, where owning an active means more than holding – it means being able to use it, playing with it and being able to build on it next to a community.
These functions then connect with the wider player-driven economy of the game, where assets can be created, traded and sold through the built-in market of MNA.
Pudgy holders can make and sell exclusive emotes, add new ways to earn from their NFTs. There are also special missions, NPCs and theme -outfits only for Pudgy owners.
In the meantime, players from the entire MNA community can participate in seasonal quests and earn rewards when chapter one: a new beginning is launched on 17 June.
Look forward
The team behind my neighbor Alice says that this will not be the last crossover. They want to bring in other NFT projects over time, build a world where different communities can actually communicate in one place. It is part of a slow but steady shift in blockchain – gaming – away from static collection objects and to experiences that focus on how people use and share what they possess.
For both my neighbor Alice and Pudgy Penguins, it is an opportunity to see what can happen if web3 communities work together – not only to exist next to each other, but to create something new together.
