Monad works together with Chainlink to integrate his Oracle Services while the Mainstet launch looms up.
Monad, an EVM-compatible layer 1 Blockhain, has announced a partnership with a leading decentralized Oracle provider Chainlink (link). When the mainnet is launched, developers on Monad have immediate access to the full package of Web3 services from Chainlink, including data feeds, data flows and the interoperability protocol of the cross-chain.
Thanks to the data feeds from Chainlink and Datstream Integrations, Monad developers have access to accurate, sabotage-proof market data such as asset prices and exchange rates value, they can build Defi apps such as credit platforms and DEXs. The CCIP from Chainlink will enable safe, programmable cross-chain token transfers, which lays the foundation for building interoperable Daapps.
The development comes from another major announcement of the project, which confirmed that USD Coin (USDC) will be available at the Monad chain from day one of the Mainstet launch.
Supported by $ 244 million in financing under the leadership of Dragonfly and Paradigm, Monad is an EVM-compatible L1 chain that supports more than 10,000 transactions per second, fast block times, low costs and fast finality, made possible by its parallel implementation model.
On February 19, the project launched his test network in addition to an ecosystem directory Of the 50+ apps, infrastructure providers and integrations that give users and developers a robust environment to explore, build and test from the first day. Phantom, OKX, Uniswap Wallet and Backpack users can connect immediately, while others can manually on board Testnet.monad.xyz. A built-in crane offers TestNet Mon tokens for interactions with Monad Dapps.
The Mainstet launch is planned for the first quarter of 2025, but the exact date has yet to be announced.
