Metamask has added native support for SEI in a strategic collaboration that benefits users from a new cross-chain Swaps and Asset Bridge.
Summary
- Metamask wallet has integrated SEI, making cross -access to decentralized applications, games and tokens possible.
- Sei has seen a remarkable growth of ecosystem, with total value locked and daily transactions rise.
- Integration brings native sei -swaps and asset bridge to metamask users.
Self -coastodie Web3 Wallet Metamask, which was developed by Consensys, says it has done that integrated Layer-1 Blockchain Sei (SEI) to bring cross-chain access to decentralized applications to its users.
With the Metamask movement can easily use the SEI ecosystem, with access to Dapps and Sei-Native Activa directly from the user’s wallet. This integration brings the number of block chains with the support of the self -spice wallet to 11.
“Expanding Metamask to support emerging networks such as SEI is about solving real problems for users,” said Gal Eldar, Global Product Lead in Metamask. “Web3 is heading for a reality of multiple chains and users should not have to struggle with different portfolios or complex bridges to participate. By bringing Sei to Metamask, we deliver a smoother and safer experience that we think will help bring the next wave of users to Web3.”
Metamask to support native swaps and bridging
Metamask has added a special SEI page on its platform and users have access to functions such as SEI-based decentralized applications, games, tokens and non-final tokens. Users can also exchange assets and bridge to SEI, or buy SEI directly from the Metamask wallet.
The integration is because the ecosystem of SEI records considerable growth, also in decentralized finances. Activity at the chain explodes with daily transactions that increase to more than 4.2 million, while the total value has been locked $ 600 million. In the meantime, the monthly active users of SEI or Maus have risen to 11 million.
Per DefillamaSei’s Stablecoin -market capitalization has risen more than 30% over the past seven days to more than $ 265 million.
Metamask support for the L1-blockchain unlocks the powerful network infrastructure of the platform for more than 100 million users worldwide. Justin Barlow, executive director at the SEI Development Foundation, added:
“This partnership offers the growing ecosystem of SEI with an unprecedented range, while delivering a seamless onboarding experience that users already know and trust. It is a milestone that SEI goes one step further when building the best powerful EVM ecosystem.”
