Dia has officially unveiled Lumina, a new modular, roll-up-based Oracle architecture that is designed to bring confidential and verifiable data to Blockchains.
Lumina rolled out on March 26, 2025 on the Mainstet, Dia, which stands for decentralized information activa, noted in an announcement.
The unveiling marks a milestone that Dia says signals “The era of blind trust in oracles is over.” In other words, the Mainnet launch of Lumina’s Rollup-driven Oracle solution puts an end to “Black-Box Oracles”.
Instead brings transparency and verifeability to the sourcing and delivery of data. This means that developers, decentralized financial protocols and blockchain networks no longer work in an opaque environment when it comes to data processing. “No more blind trust in Oracles” is the shift that Dia Lumina wants to deliver, according to Dillon Hanson, head of business development.
“For years, oracles are considered by many to be a necessary evil – an infrastructure layer blockchain builders had no choice but to trust. That stops now. Dia Lumina is not just an oracle stack. It is the first that you don’t ask for it at all,” he added in a statement.
According to Dia, Lumina offers a solution that ensures reliable and verifiable oracles for decentralized finances and the market for Real-World assets. These sectors process billions in transactions between loans, derivatives and stablecoins – user cases in which Oracles play a crucial role in data processing and verification.
But despite this growth, most legacy oracle platforms still work as ‘centralized, trust -based’ providers. Lumina’s design wants to change this by offering a complete on-chain architecture that makes transparency possible.
“By putting every transaction, price feed and calculation on the chain, we do not only compete with existing Oracels-We make them outdated,” said Hanson.
To deliver these benefits, Lumina uses LasertNet, a modular low-2 built using arbitrum’s optimistic Rollup stack and data availability layer. This ensures verifiable oracles with public, cheap data verification.
Ripple and Stellar are among the leading networks to integrate slides Oracle solution for Real-World assets and institutional acceptance in chains. Oracle platforms that are currently dominating industry include Chainlink, Pyth Network, Flare and API3.
