Apple Farm Season 2 was launched on Etherlink with more than $ 3 million in rewards to support Layer 2 Defi Ecosystem Grow, according to the report shared with Finbold on 24 July.
The second season follows season 1, which attracted thousands of users, generated more than $ 47 million in total value locked (TVL) and distributed $ 3 million in XTZ relections.

Apple Farm is a remuneration program that encourages users to participate in Defi applications on Etherlink, including trade, loans and the provision of liquidity. Season 2 introduces Applxtz, a new reward smoking that offers users immediate access to 20% of their rewards, with the remaining 80% unlocking for six months.
“Season 1 showed that there is a strong demand for smart, well -structured incentives,” said David Rerkin, head of Defi at Nomadic Labs. “With season 2 we level more partners, more flexibility and reward mechanics that are designed to keep users active and involved over time. We build real, sustainable value for the ecosystem.”
New partnerships and developments
Season 2 contains participating protocols, including Jumper.exchange, Lombard, Curve, Oku, Gearbox, Stacy.fi, Hanji, Superlend, Uranium.io and Iguanadex, with extra protocols that merge throughout the season. Renew reward options every two weeks based on activity and demand.

Season 1 peaked $ 47.7 million in TVL and $ 88.5 million in asset value on-chain. Recent network developments include the launch of Midas from Tokenized Activa and the Defi -Aaggregator of OKU, which brings Uniswap V3 functionality. Improvements of network performance include Smart Contract Storage speed rises to 30x and the bridging times shortened from 15 days to less than a minute.
