Bloomberg analysts have projected 75% to 90% opportunities for approval for the most important exchange-related fund applications that are currently being assessed, but the increasing delays of the sec push the final decisions further in 2025.
Bloomberg analysts Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart recently have issued Their latest projections about the probability of approval for different ETFs currently assessed by the SEC.
Spot ETFs for Litecoin (LTC), Solana (SOL) and Crypto baskets/indexes (including conversions such as GBTC from Grayscale) have the highest opportunities opportunities in 2025 – AK has assigned a probability of 90%. The favorable image of the SEC on LTC and Sol as raw materials, in combination with their ties with regulated futures markets, has probably contributed to these optimistic projections. All three have already recognized their 19B-4 forms, with the final SEC deadlines ranging from July to October this year.
Ripple (XRP) has a slightly lower chance of 85% of approval. The final result for XRP is probably still bound to how regulators categorize it – especially after the announcement of the CFTC on April 21, that the XRP regards as a regulated active for futures markets.
Dogecoin (Doge) and Hedera (HBAR) each get a chance of 80% of approval. Avalanche (Avax), Cardano (ADA) and Polkadot (DOT) course something behind with a chance of 75% of approval.
“Would like to hear directly from Atkins, but they all have a good chance to happen,” Balchunas written On X.
Although the opportunities for approval are quite high for most archives, the US Securities and Exchange Commission continues to issue delays in the Crypto ETF landscape. On April 29, the SEC posted decisions about different applications: Franklin Templeton’s Spot Solana ETF, now confronted with a last deadline of 7 October, and the place XRP ETF, with a deadline of 5 November. Grayscale’s Spot Hedera ETF and Bitwise’s Dogwise’s Dogwise’s Dogwise’s Dogwise’s Dogwise’s Dogwise’s Dogwise’s Dogwise’s Dogwise’s Proves Proves to Heded A decision on the sec proofs, the sec proofs, the Provoves. Fidelity’s place Ethereum ETF, although a last deadline for that proposal has yet to be announced.
On April 24, the SEC had also delayed decisions on Bitcoin (BTC) of Bitwise (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) ETFs, as well as Hedera ETF from Canary Capital. The new deadlines for those archives were set on June 10 and 11 June respectively.
