Crypto-traders are increasingly looking for self-spice platforms that are easy to use. Glider wants to fill that niche.
Defi platforms are left with their CEX counterparts, largely due to a lack of user-friendly functions. For this reason, Andreessen Horowitz led a $ 4 million financing round for Glider, a self-coastal lover for crypto-trade.
The platform combines AI functions with Defi. Firstly, the AI will use users to manage their funds in an automated way, without performing any trade itself. This may mean that choosing a few coins, picking trending tokens or a basket with crypto assets based on certain criteria.

At the same time, users retain full custody of their assets, which increases the security of the platform. This distinguishes Glider from other asset managers, including Bitwise and Grayscale, says co-founder of the company Brian Huang.
“It looks a lot like these traditional financial advisers, but we do it completely non-freestyle,” Brian Huang, Glider.
Glider plans to launch in the coming months
Venture funds that also participated in the financing round were Coinbase Ventures, Uniswap Ventures and GSR. However, the company did not announce the appreciation with which these funds were collected. Moreover, these companies are, despite the fact that Glider has not yet launched his product.

While Glider is still testing his technology, it wants to launch his platform in the coming months. The company will earn money with charging a management allowance, which uses a percentage of the assets of users under management.
AI was one of the most popular trends in risk capital last year. At the same time, investors are becoming increasingly familiar with the use of AI in investments. In 2023, for example, a study showed that one in three American investors felt comfortable in following investment advice from a tool driven by Generative AI.
