Aave Labs has launched a new initiative called Horizon, which improves the integration of Institutional Real-World Assets (RWAS) in Defi.

Project Horizon is designed to adapt to institutional compliance requirements, while the efficiency and transparency of Defi is retained. The initiative introduces a structured route for institutions and tokenization platforms to safely use decentralized financing.
One of the core functions enables institutions to use tokenized money market funds (MMFs) as collateral when borrowing stablecoins such as GHO and USDC. Future plans include the expansion to other forms of RWAs and further improving institutional access to Defi -Liquidity.
