Toobit, a cryptocurrency exchange based in the Cayman Islands, announced the launch of a trading campaign with a $1 million prize pool, according to a company statement.
The campaign, titled ‘Trails to Triumph with Chris Sharma’, includes: participation from professional mountaineer Chris Sharma, who serves as the company’s brand ambassador. The initiative targets both experienced and new traders through a series of tasks within the platform’s services.
Toobit offers rewards
The promotion offers rewards in three categories: starter missions for onboarding, tiered funding milestones for deposit activities and daily trading activities via spot, futures, copy trading and event contracts. according to to the exchange.
The $1 million prize pool consists of cash rewards and physical items, including iPhone 17 Pro devices and Apple Watch Series 11 units. Participants can claim cryptocurrency, vouchers with bonuses of up to 200, token airdrops of popular cryptocurrencies and limited edition Toobit merchandise, the company said.
“Any great journey, whether conquering a climbing route or navigating the crypto markets, requires calculated strategy and determination,” said Mike Williams, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer. “The community is invited to explore the full breadth of Toobit, where achieving these trading and deposit milestones translates focus and strategy into tangible, high-value rewards.”
Participation requires registration on a dedicated campaign page, with full details and requirements available on Toobit’s official website, according to the announcement.
Sharma is recognized as one of the most talented mountaineers in the history of the sport.
In October, Toobit introduced a $50 million fund, described as a risk reserve that provides traders with automatic protection against losses from platform incidents. The fund compensates users in the event of hacks or platform disruptions and is automatically activated upon a trader’s first deposit. The exchange maintains a public dashboard that displays the total value of the fund in real time.
“The safety of traders’ funds is the foundation of everything the company does,” Williams stated at the time. “The Shield Fund gives every trader an automatic safety net, so that trading can proceed worry-free.”
According to the exchange, the fund does not cover losses due to personal account compromises, individual trading decisions or market volatility.
