This collaborative project Between Web3D Consortium members, the open geospatial ecosystem is expanding by supplying streaming industrial 3D geospatial data sets within X3D, an open source ISO standard, for displaying 3D scenes on the internet. This meets a crucial need for users of X3D and 3D Tiles, where OGC 3D tiles integrates content with X3D -Spatial Content.
The Cesium platform of Bentley is the leading open platform for software applications that are designed to unleash the power of 3D geospatial data. Bentley wants to promote the use of open standards, open APIs and open-source technologies to promote innovation and cooperation in the field.
