Katana, a graduated project of Polygon’s Agglayer Breakout Program, has launched his public mainnet and unlocation of uniform, deep liquidity and sustainable yield generation.
Katana, a Layer 2 chain with more than $ 200 million in productive TVL, has official launched His mainnet. With the platform, users can bridge assets, yields, borrow, act and follow rewards – all in one streamlined interface. With the launch, supported assets USD Coin (USDC), Tether (USDT), AUSD and Ethereum (ETH), with Bitcoin (BTC) and other tokens that will soon roll out.
Katana integrates with leading Defi protocols such as Jancn, Sushi and Morpho and offers increased yields through his innovative “safe bridge” and chain possession of liquidity model. Early users already earn an annual V3 hills, with extra stimuli in the form of Morpho and Sushi tokens.
Katana has assigned 1 billion cat -tokens (10% of the total delivery) for two years for the incentives of liquidity extraction in core applications:
- Sushiswap: 400 million cat (4.0%)
- Morpho: 250 million cat (2.5%)
- Future initiatives (Perpetual Dex, Launchpad, Yield tokenization): up to 350 million cat (3.5%)
Rewards are distributed in real time via the Katana app, but continue to lock until Kat-Tokens becomes transferable (expected before February 20, 2026). Once transferable, Kat holders can set and vote on future emissions via VKAT.
With more than 30 Defi apps live or soon, deep liquidity and infrastructure of institutional quality of partners such as Chainlink, Fireblocks and Safe, Katana positions itself as a scalable and sustainable new standard in Defi.
Katana graduated from Polygon’s Agglayer Breakout program, a launchpad initiative aimed at incubating and launching high-impact blockchain projects built on Agglayer and Polygon Pos. The public launch follows at the end of May his private minet debut and comes as planned if Katana had announced plans for a public mainnet launch at the end of June.
As required for projects that graduate from the Agglayer program, Katana has assigned 15% of his token supply to an airdrop of Pol Strikers.
The launch of Katana follows earlier Agglayer projects, including Privado ID and Mids.
