Monda, the leading Dex and liquidity incubator on the Monad Blockchain, has renamed Purps and now offers cross-chain Swaps.
According to a recent official announcement On X, Monda officially renamed Purps Exchange. The new house of the platform is now Purps.xyzCompletely diverted with the ancient domain Monda.fund.
In a follow -up post, the company explained The reasons behind the Rebrand. Firstly, the former name “Monda” unintentionally clashed with other “Mon-” projects in the monad ecosystem, which leads to confusion and reputation contrary.
The switch to PURPs also reflects the maturation of the exchange. While the Dex quickly scaled up, the team thought it had outgrown the “Mon-DA” label and needed a name that was independent, without direct ties with Monad itself.
The new name, Purps, not only records with the characteristic purple theme of the platform, but also wears a smart nod to its nuclear offer – 20x Perps Trade. The expression “Are you Purps today?” is now both a brand slogan and a playful double income within the trading community.
Today also the company announced It has integrated cryptorubic, a decentralized bridge protocol that makes native cross-chain token swaps possible. To celebrate, the company does 250 Monad Giveaway.

With cross-chain token swaps now live, Purps makes it easy for users of other chains to access the deep liquidity and cheap, instant swaps. With bridges built into the Dapp, new users can board faster and start trading or offer liquidity without friction.
In addition to swapping, PURPS also serves as a token launch path. Projects may apply to be displayed and possibly host their first DEX offer on the Purps Launchpad. Through the incubation program, selected projects are given access to financing, community growing sources and market traction support to speed up their development and acceptance.
