Giant of the Financial Services Morgan Stanley’s Online Brokerage and Bank Platform is said to be offering crypto -trade from next year.
According to a new report By Bloomberg, inspired by the pro-Crypto actions and statements by President Donald Trump, say anonymous sources that are familiar with the case that Morgan Stanley is planning to include digital assets in his online E-Trade service platform by 2026, although no specific date was mentioned.
Although the plans are still at an early stage, Morgan Stanley weighs its options in terms of which crypto companies work together. If the company follows, this would mark the biggest step by a banking institution to offer Crypto assets – including the top two digital assets of Market Cap Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) – directly to retail investors.
Currently, Morgan Stanley only offers digital asset products, such as Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), options and futures contracts, to its richer customers, according to the report.
Earlier this year, Trump made important movements for the Crypto industry, such as signing an executive order to create a strategic BTC reserve, which releases regulatory pressure on the industry from the US Securities and Exchange Commission, a ‘Crypto Tsaar’ -Disronso Gest.
Other large banking institutions, such as Sofi, have signaled That they can follow Morgan Stanley and can directly offer crypto assets on their retail trade platforms.
