Velar, a bitcoin -decentralized exchange protocol, has unveiled an initiative aimed at content makers in the Bitcoin Defi space.
The yield program of the Content Creator, the first of its kind, rewards makers for their contributions in the same way as yield agriculture.
According to this program, Velar will distribute 50,000 $ Velar, in the amount of 200,000 $ Velar per month, selected by five contributors through a lottery system.
Under the initiative, content makers – who run from tweet authors to bloggers, video producers and podcasters – will earn points for their contributions.
These points can be converted into lotteries, whereby weekly winners are selected.
The aim of Velar is to merge education and financial infrastructure by stimulating informative and fascinating content within the Bitcoin Defi Ecosystem.
Eligible contents formats are tweets, blogs, videos and podcasts.
Participants earn points based on the quality and involvement value of their contributions, which then translate into lotteries.
The program gives priority to quality over quantity through a robust verification process and weekly resets, giving earlier or newer makers fair options for participating.
Winners will be selected weekly and rewards will be paid to their wallets within 48 hours.
