Jennifer Rosenthal, formerly the head of communication at Grayscale Investments, has recorded the role of Chief Communications Officer at the Defi Education Fund
Rosenthal announced Her new position on X, expressing her enthusiasm for promoting decentralized finances and arguing for policy that supports growth in the United States.
During her term of office at Grayscale, Rosenthal led communication through important milestones, including the legal efforts of the company to insist on our spot Bitcoin ETFs.
Her experience also includes serving as a communication consultant at FGS Global and leading emerging market communication at Pearson.
In her new role at Def, Rosenthal wants to show the transforming potential of Defi technologies. Defi refers to a segment of the cryptocurrency industry that tries to replicate traditional financial services – such as loans, borrowing and acting – using blockchain technology.
In contrast to conventional finances, which depends on intermediaries such as banks, Defi works on decentralized platforms, so that users can carry out financial transactions directly.
Decentralized financial education
The Defi Education Fund is a research and interest group that focuses on training policy makers and the public about decentralized finances.
With the appointment of Rosenthal, Def wants to strengthen its communication strategy to better inform and involve stakeholders about the benefits and innovations within the Defi space.
