Telegram and TON go exclusive: Tuesday Telegram and The Open Network Foundation announced an exclusivity agreement which requires Telegram mini-apps – the biggest of which are games like Hamster Kombat and Trump’s Empire – with crypto integrations to use TONwith Telegram also offering several benefits to projects that use the network.
Telegram is actually the original creator of TON, which was first known as the Telegram Open Network, but as a messaging app dumped the project in 2020 as a result of supervision by the regulators. Development continued externally through a community of builders, who eventually launched TON as The Open Network.
Betting with TRUMP: Crypto casino Rivalry has added the recently launched TRUMP Solana meme coin as a means of payment on the platform. The move took place last weekend, shortly after the coin fell, and before Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States on Monday.
Users of the Rivalry gambling site can deposit and stake their TRUMP tokens, as well as use them as a means of payment on the platform. Those who choose to bet TRUMP on Rivalry will receive exclusive rewards until February 1 in the form of a multiplier on NUTZ tokens earned for each bet.
Rivalry claimed that this move made it the first gambling operator to accept the official TRUMP token.
Ronin meme coins: Ethereum gaming sidechain network Ronin got its own meme coin launch pad on Tuesday. Tama Meme works similarly to Pump.fun, Solana’s token creation site, allowing anyone to launch a token with just a few clicks.
Tama Meme was created by Moku, a developer with support from Ronin creator Sky Mavis, and is part of Ronin’s ongoing expansion under “Operation Leviosa‘ – an initiative to open up the previously managed Ronin ecosystem and welcome more games, applications and decentralized finance platforms.

- Valhalla Foundation, a mobile gaming organization, launched its GOD token in collaboration with InfiniGods Hyperfluid.
- LINE, a free messaging app, got its own Web3 mini-game platform Mini Dapps.
- “Metaverse Filipino Worker,” a short documentary, was released about people from the Philippines working in the metaverse.
