Former Goldman Sachs executive Raoul Pal thinks exchanges and other crypto intermediaries give individuals the power to revolutionize their finances.
Friend recently questioned his million followers on the social media platform X, asking whether their personal portfolios performed better or worse than the S&P 500 this year.
Nearly 11,000 people responded, with 80.7% of them claiming their portfolios outperformed the S&P 500, which is up 27.5% this year.
Friend say The overwhelming majority of people outperforming the S&P 500 is a sign that everyday investors are sharing ideas to beat market experts.
“The BIG idea here is that the exponential trend of self-investment through shared ideas and the freedom to transact will over time massively outperform the TradFi (traditional finance) gatekeepers and the 401k industrial complex… and it is fantastic to see.
80% of the people here have beaten what most asset managers haven’t beaten: the S&P 500.
Binance, Coinbase, Robinhood, Kraken, etc. and product providers such as VanEck, Bitwise, etc. are vital in this process of power change and have played a pioneering role in this.”
In terms of specific tokens, the CEO of Real Vision thinks Solana (SOL) competitor Sui (SUI) will likely become the “next big thing” in crypto.
The layer-1 blockchain’s native token, SUI, is trading at $3.36 at the time of writing, down more than 1% on the day.
