Ledger has leveraged Yield.xyz as it begins to roll out offender trading within its wallet ecosystem, giving users access to Hyperliquid’s onchain offender markets via a hardware wallet.
Yield.xyz is a non-custodial API that allows wallets and custodians to earn returns from a range of onchain activities, such as staking, recapture, liquid staking, DeFi lending, RWA yields, vaults, and more, according to the documentation. The project claims to support around 80% of the DeFi market through its API, “and more covering all major DeFi protocols.”
Notably, Yield’s Ledger interface will utilize decentralized perpetrators Hyperfluid as the underlying platform. According to the report, HyperLiquid is the largest provider of on-chain derivatives The data of the blockwith total volume of approximately $181 million last month.

“With the launch of Perpetual Trading in Ledger Wallet, we are bringing hardware security to one of the fastest growing segments of crypto,” said JF Rochet, executive vice president of consumer services at Ledger. “Ledger ensures that users who choose to trade these markets can do so directly using their self-custodial wallets, without compromising control of their assets.”
The feature allows eligible users access to leveraged trading with their hardware wallets, allowing them to maintain control over their private keys. Ledger notes that most perpetrators trading today “occur in environments that expose users to significant security risks, including browser wallets, centralized exchanges, and workflows that require blind signing.”
Ledger is rolling out the feature to approximately 20% of its user base in select regions, “with broader accessibility to follow.” The feature will not be available in limited jurisdictions, including the UK, US, France, Belgium and Ontario, Canada.
Yield.xyz supports all of Ledger’s earning and wagering features. The companies are now extending this to perpetrators through a widget for clearly signed, hardware-protected transactions. Earlier on Tuesday, Yield.xyz launched an integrated DeFi stack for AI agents in Privy, the software wallet overseen by Stripe.
